Hair. It's one of any
woman's daily concerns. Does it look right? It's just not turning out
today? Why is it so oily? Would I look better with a new style? How
do I achieve that style- and who has time? What is the best product
for my hair? What about all the current trends for this season? How
can my hair look like a celebrity?
In general .... I hear the woes and worries every day- no matter what
age or industry all women have the same concerns about their hair. I
am truly amazed with each question and conversation the very little
bit of resources that are available out on the net- so I decided to make
a section devoted to many of the common conversations I have about hair
and hair styles.
Face Shapes Important Role in
Choosing A Hair Style
Are you looking to change your hairstyle? Consider your face shape. Finding
out what type of face shape you have is the single most important step
to help you decide what type of hairstyle is right for you. “But
I how do I know what type of face shape I have?”
There is a simple way to expose the actual shape of your face. I can determine
in person exactly what type of face style you have, or your current hair stylist
can. We are the best judges for this, and it's our job. Many people have said
to draw the outline of your face with lipstick on a mirror, or lie on a bed
and mold a damp towel around your head and ever-s-carefully get up and then
look at and determine the shape.
There is an easier way explained below:
You'll need:
Tape Measure
Pen
/ Pencil
Paper
Calculator
1.
Measure the distance of your face across horizontally from the top of
your cheekbones.
Write down the measurement.
2. Measure your jaw line from the widest point on your face to the
widest point.
Write down the measurement.
3. Measure the widest point across your forehead; vertically this is
somewhere between your eyebrows and hairline.
Write down the measurement.
4. Vertically measure to most northern point of the start of your hairline
to the most southern tip of your chin.
Write down the measurement.
Got your numbers? Are you ready for some math?
